ThermoMatrix ReviewThermoMatrix is a fat burning and appetite suppressant for both men and women. It has been designed to provide a thermogenic effect that heats up the body from the inside as well as promotes the decomposition of fat cells to help keep the body cool. In addition to these benefits, it supposedly curbs the body’s cravings for starchy, carb-heavy foods.

The ingredients in ThermoMatrix, when this review was written, included: White Kidney Bean Extract, Apple Cider Vinegar, Gymnema Sylvestre, Cascara Sagrada, Garcinia Cambogia Extract, Chitosan, Aloe Vera.

The recommended dosage is to take two capsules immediately before a meal with 8 ounces of water. Users are cautioned not to take more than 2 capsules per meal or to take this product with more than 2 meals per day. It is also recommended for these pills to be used in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program.

Considering the above ingredients, such as apple cider vinegar and aloe vera, this diet pill is likely to function more like a laxative than anything else. Therefore, if you see any weight loss, it will likely be due to the loss of water than actual fat. That being said, white kidney bean is believed to be a carb blocker. However, there is no evidence that it block carbs to the degree that it has any real effect on your weight loss. Moreover, none of the ingredients in this formula appear to cause thermogenesis.

On the plus side, there does not appear to be any stimulants, which means that you’re not likely to experience any stimulant-related side effects.

Lack of stimulants aside, ThermoMatrix does not contain any proven weight loss ingredients. This mean there is no guarantee that it will live up to any of its claims. Furthermore, this diet pill has not been studied, so any claims made about it are entirely unproven.

It should also be noted that since this product contains chitosan, if you have an allergy to shellfish, you should not take ThermoMatrix. Chitosan comes from the shells of crustaceans. With that in mind, you should also talk to your health care provider if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition, prior to taking this dietary supplement.

Keep in mind that even though this product can be taken without a prescription, this doesn’t mean that it is safe for you to take. Always err on the side of caution and speak to your health care provider before adding any dietary supplement to your weight loss regimen.

Stacker3 ReviewStacker3 with chitosan is a diet and energy supplement and metabolizing fat burner. It is a Stacker2 product and has a new formula that is now free of ephedra. The ingredients selected for the new formula may create a thermogenic response and deliver a boost of energy.

As previously mentioned, Stacker3 contains chitosan. This is a fibrous substance that is extracted from the shells of crustaceans, such as lobster, crab and shrimp. It is thought that it may block the absorption of dietary fat and cholesterol. As it can’t be properly digested by the body, it passes through the digestive tract, potentially bonding with ingested fat along the way, and carries it out as it is expelled from the body as waste.

That being said, there is more than just chitosan in Stacker3. When this review was written, the formula contained the following: Chromium, Proprietary Blend (Green Tea, Taurine, Garcinia Cambogia, White Willow Bark, Chitosan), Caffeine.

Based on the ingredients, it’s clear that the developers of Stacker3 were focused on including substances that are thought to help with appetite control, increased mental focus, energy boosting, metabolism boosting, increasing thermogenesis, and preventing the body from ingesting a certain amount of fat.

With that in mind, however, even though these ingredients may have the potential to help a person with their efforts to lose weight, this doesn’t meant that they actually will. The reason is simple: neither these ingredients nor Stacker3 have been scientifically proven for causing weight loss.

Moreover, it may not be in your best interest to take Stacker3, due to its high caffeine content. The suggested use is to take 1 capsule after meals, but not to exceed 3 pills in a 24 hour period. Considering Stacker3 contains 250 mg of caffeine per serving, which is about equal to 3 cups of coffee, the maximum 3 capsule dose would be equal to drinking 9 cups of coffee in a day! Needless to say, this is an extremely high dose of caffeine, which calls into question the integrity and safety of this product.

Such high doses of caffeine are bound to lead to adverse effects, even in people who are not typically sensitive to this stimulant. Such effects may include insomnia, anxiety, jitters, heart palpitations, rapid heartbeat, headache, high blood pressure, etc.

Also, be advised that chitosan comes from shellfish. If you have an allergy to shellfish, do not take this product or any other dietary supplement that contains chitosan.

Ultimately, however, because of the caffeine content in Stacker3 it would be best if you avoided this diet pill and found a safer alternative.
