Lipozal ReviewLipozal is an “advanced weight management” dietary supplement that has been developed to increase fat metabolism. It claims to burn fat quicker, boost metabolic rate and balance hormones.

The only active ingredient in the Lipozal formula when this review was written is Coleus Forskohlii (root) Extract (20% forskolin). There is 125 mg per 1 capsule serving size.

Coleus forskohlii is a plant that also goes by the name of Plectranthus barbatus. The chemical that is found within the roots of the plant is forskolin. This herb has been used since ancient times for medicinal purposes and some research claims that it may be beneficial to those who are attempting to lose weight.

Forskolin is believed to stimulate the release of stored fat from fat cells. This process is the same as whenever the body needs to use body fat for energy.

There have been a few small weight loss studies involving humans and forskolin. The largest trial was reportedly a randomized study that involved 30 overweight and obese men, who were randomly split up into the forskolin group and the placebo group. By the end of the study, it was found that the 15 men who took forskolin lost notably more fat than the 15 in the placebo group. However, their total body weight didn’t change.

That being said, it was also found that the forskolin group experienced a significant rise in free testosterone. Testosterone can also stimulate the release of fat from fat cells, which may explain some of the fat loss that was observed in the study.

Another study involving overweight women found that those who took forskolin as a supplement did not experience any significant decrease in fat loss. That being said, the results did suggest that forskolin may help to protect against weight gain.

However, other studies have found forskolin to offer no significant benefits for weight loss at all. Therefore, the bottom line is that there isn’t enough evidence to prove that this substance is beneficial as a weight loss aid.

That being said, even if forskolin does help to stimulate the release of stored fat from fat cells, the release of stored fat is not sufficient enough to promote weight loss. This would need to be accompanied by decreasing the number of calories in your diet. This is achieved by ingesting fewer calories. Weight loss supplements that can potentially help you in your efforts to decrease your caloric intake include those that help to suppress appetite, boost metabolism, and decrease the efficiency of digestion. Forskolin has not been found to produce any of these benefits.

If you are interested in taking Lipozal, you should first speak with your healthcare provider. This is especially important if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition or are currently taking medications or supplements to treat a health issue.

Pure Forskolin Slim

Pure Forskolin Slim ReviewVita Supps Pure Forskolin Slim is a dietary supplement for weight loss that is marketed as a metabolism booster and fat burner.

According to the product’s sales page on Amazon, when this Pure Forskolin Slim review was created, coleus forskohlii root extract – the single active ingredient in this supplement – functions as a carb blocker and metabolism boost to burn away stubborn fat in all parts of the body, especially around the belly and midsection. It is also thought to release fatty acids from adipose tissues, increasing thermogenesis and leading to a loss of body fat.

Naturally, you can’t simply trust what the manufacturer of weight loss pills claims it can do, especially on the product’s sales page. Therefore, it’s important to dig a little deeper where Pure Forskolin Slim is concerned, to get the real scoop about the product.

Aside from the claims of what people say it can do, it’s important to look at the facts. The first of these is that forskolin is an active compound found in the roots of the Indian coleus, also known as Coleus forskohlii, which is a tropical plant related to the mint family.

For centuries, forskolin has been used as a traditional herbal medicine to treat various health ailments and diseases, including for the treatment of high blood pressure, chest pain, asthma, eczema, allergies, urinary tract infections, blood clots, etc.

While it has also been used for weight loss, it didn’t really start gaining popularity in the US over-the-counter weight loss industry until it was featured on the Dr. Oz’s show back in 2014 as a weight loss supplement.

Forskolin appears to work on muscles in the heart and in the walls of the blood vessels. It can lower blood pressure by producing a more powerful heartbeat and widening the blood vessels.

In regard to weight loss, early research has investigated this herbs effects on fat metabolism. However, most of these studies have been conducted in test tubes and on animals, so results are not necessarily applicable to humans.

With that in mind, it has been found that forskolin can stimulate the release of stored fat from fat cells, but this effect on its own is not enough to promote weight loss. As such, there is no evidence or proof that this herb, or the Pure Forskolin Slim product, will increase metabolic rate or fat burning.

Keep in mind that if you are still interested in taking Pure Forskolin Slim, in spite of there being lack of evidence that it is beneficial for weight loss, consult with your doctor first to make certain it is safe for your current state of health and lifestyle.
